  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nope. I doubt I'll get one at all. I don't play games nearly as much as I used to and I really hope Nintendo will do a better job of supporting this console. The first two years of the Wii were stellar and suddenly the great games dried up and it became a shovel-ware console. If it looks really cool down the road then maybe I'll consider it but for right now the Wii and PS3 are more than enough to keep our family entertained.

I'm a lifelong Nintendo fan but right now there are other things that my money needs to be spent on.

I have a wii which is great, glad to hear the new system is compatible with those games. But the bible does say be content with what you have got. Anyway price bound to go down...

I had considered getting one, but I'm considering toning down my collecting to just the systems I have, excluding the Game boy Color, (Still need to order one of them,) And restricting my game collection to 32-40 games per console, (Excluding downloads.) This is mainly due to new games getting more and more expensive and used games getting cheaper and cheaper in most cases. (Imagine getting a game that originally cost 60$ for under $8 bucks with a 90 day warranty.)
