I use to live in Tulsa OK. I lived there for about 13 years. Now Im living here in New York. I you that NY is way over rated. Its noisy, dirty, and everyone is mean like I dont know what.

I hear that Tulsa is changing a little, that Crime increased. Is that true?

Im going back down south as soon as I finish college.

New York? Wow. That's awesome. I would love to go there. :)

Thats great:)! Be perpared to see things you could only find here in New York City. Its great , but umm after a year or two you'll be able to say " ya, I just about seen it all" or " these subways really dosent interest me any more." Anyway, theres no place like home dont take it for granted .

Hi, I just found this site tonite, and since I found some Oklahoma peeps, I figured it would be a great time to find out some information on it.......I am researching it for relocation, and eventually retirement. I am a christian and wondering if I will fit in there. I am 49 and a single female, and do bicycling/walking.....bookstores/coffeeshops, church and fitness classes......

Not sure where in Oklahoma I would like to go too, but I know I do like water, and my flowering trees, more than I like desert type terrain.....

Maybe I can get some opinions or advice on the area, it would be wonderful.......I do alot of online searching but the websites can be soooooo biased, nothing like getting a locals opinion of the place....

What is the weather, and crime like? Safe for a single lady?

Thanks in advance........
