Anyone from Calvary Chapel?

I'm don't belong to any church yet, but I listen to the live online sermons from Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale with Pastor Bob Coy every week/end. If I miss one (I listen at work), I can still catch them when they load the archive into their website.

I looked for a Calvary Chapel around me, but there isn't one.

Yes, I used to attend Calvary Chapel Modesto with the awesome Pastor Damian Kyle. I've since moved and attend another Calvary Chapel. I love my church!

Yes, the Calvary Chapel movement began in the 70's as an outreach to the hippies of southern California.

Nah, it's nothing like that. I'm moving to an area that doesn't have a Vineyard fellowship, so I expect that I will end up at Calvary Chapel because I have experience with it as a good solid foundational church.

Though I serve at a non-denom, I attend Calvary Chapel Philly on Wednesdays. Joe Focht is an amazing teacher!!! I would not mind hooking up with a Calvary Chapel in the future...even with a non-charismatic background!
