I never heard he was Catholic before becoming protestant and reverting. I'll have to look it up. I thought him and Gahn were just converts from Protestantism.

I always felt like I was watching some baptist youth pastor. The material he taught was good. I think it was just his delivery that bothered me. I can see the Protestant style too. I'm not sure what to think of him. Interesting how ex-Protestants are now teaching us the Bible. My bible study group is also led by an ex-protestant. Maybe it's because he lets people know that he used to be a Protestant, and it colors your perception of him.I guess it's just me.
