  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Anyone else not take in enough fluid?

You can be dehydrated and not thirsty too. I agree with kol's old military trick. My suggestion would be to keep a water bottle with you. Get a nalgene or even a poland springs bottle and just keep it with you so you always have it available and refill it whenever you come across a waterfountain.

I think it may depend on your diet as well. Water/Juice/etc. isnt the only source of fluids.

I do go long periods without water(not days though). But when i do drink, i drink 2-3 cups at a time.

Edit: I heard of the urine thing as well but slightly different. If your urine is a clear yellow, you are fine. If your urine is cloudy then you need fluids. That may be what was meant but it wasnt exactly clear.

I was just wondering exactly HOW weird my body is. I can sometimes go two days without drinking anything. I I only drink when I'm thirsty, and I'm hardly ever thirsty. (I obviously drink sometimes LOL!) Even after I go jogging or work out or anything physical, I hardly get thirsty after. Usually I'll have a few sips of something per meal, but sometimes I won't drink anything during a meal. Every once in a while I'll chug a glass or water or juice or something. I've always been like this. Anyone else not taking in enough fluids?

It's just so weird because my body feel like I'm NOT missing out, but surely this can't be good? Anyone else out there like me?
That is EXACTLY me too! LOL I am a camel or something...store water in my fat *pokes gut* :p LoL

I used to have a firm stance on being part of the water rebellion. I never drank it. I got my water in the form of "Carbonated Water" being the top ingrediant of soda. I have since then changed my mind. I now carry a one liter bottle of water everywhere I go.. and drink between 1 and 3 of those per day. I feel much better. More energized, more apt to do things.

Not that this really effects me much, but during my research about water and its benefits, I read it actually helps your hair. Makes it look much better. From what i found... it turns out water surely does help everything in your body. There are no downsides. ^_^ Other than having to pee often.. but that's no big deal.

Anyway, you should help yourself out, take care of your body a little more and drink some water.

Wow.. I never thought I would be one of the water encouragers. Weird.
