He is OK but I find him to be a little bit negative. I was once just like him though so I can't say too much. I still probably am if I think about it. I don't want to preach against things though I want to preach Christ and Him crucified.

I don't see brother Paul as negative. I see him as pragmatic. He recognizes how far the modern church has drifted away from Biblical teaching and he feels very strongly that we need to kick the New Age, touchy-feely crap out of the pews anf get back to serving the Lord. I agree with him wholeheartedly. I might be in the minority, but I don't need a preacher blowing sunshine up my backside, and that is exactly what a LOT of the famous evangelists do with their tenuous bit of clout with their books and TV ministries. Brother Paul tells it like he sees it and how he feels it, and that genuine aspect comes shining through, which is why I respect what he has to say and why I will search out things he speaks about.

In a world that preaches that God is nothing more than cuddles and rainbows, it takes a balance of truth to bring us back to reality. While his negativity may seem negativity, I think he's just trying to balance things out.

I needed his point-blank realism. It provided much needed clarity for me.

What led me to Paul Washer was when i accidentally found this video on Youtube, and from there, Paul Washer's Youth Message showed up.

i was actually looking for a hymn LOL!

When i listened it floored me, shook me up, and startled me awake. I sorely needed it.
