  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Theory said:
I don't really like "The Moon Is Down," although it is performed excellently... it just doesn't jive with me.

"About a Burning Fire" is horrid.

But I do really like "Hide Nothing"... thanks mostly to Jon Bunch's vocals.

Oh man. This is monumental. I get to correct Theory.

It was called "How To Start A Fire". AABF is Blindside. Yes.

And Jon Bunch is the best thing that happened to FSF, contrary to popular belief.

yes, the lead singer of Dashboard (Chris Carabba) did sing on The Moon is Down - my fav. album

can't say a whole lot about the second two, though I heard some of the second and it wasn't that bad.

i feel sorry for what happened to them at cornerstone last year tho... that was ridiculous.

Yeah, but that was of their own doing. C-stone had an opening on mainstage, Jon had just returned from Europe 5 days earlier from fulfilling his last tour obligations with Sensefield, and FSF played mainstage at c-stone. Jon's first gig with the band was in front of more people than he'd ever played to with Sensefield, with little practice to back it up. Never a good combination.
