Obama was a good president. But a bit milquetoast. Trump on the other hand is full of bravado, like Teddy Roosevelt. Or to give another (geeky) analogy, Obama is like Picard whereas Trump is like Kirk.

I don't remember backlash over Obama's tan suit, but I do recall there being outrage over Melania's shoes.

Nice use of milquetoast! I love that word.

I'm not sure he's THAT milquetoast though. HE WAS the president who snuffed out Obama. And more importantly, the Democrats chagrin, he used drones....A LOT.

When he spoke as a leader, he was a bit on the bland side; as he gave stats, relevant information etc. But when he's not doing that, he's got far more personality. I got no problem with a president who communicates like that.

Well he's made it pretty clear he is going to try to stay in power. He CERTAINLY hasn't said he plans to step down. I agree american democracy may not "End" from it, but it's democracy is pretty weak.
