  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Any more surprises?

Okay, so I look up and my German Shepherd Dog is standing, with all fours, on the dining room table. She jumped up there from the floor. She's normally mild mannered, quiet, occupies herself by chewing her toys, and obedient except when she's testing the limits, and has somewhat of a sweet-n-sour attitude. I have never seen anything like this out of her or the last dog I owned.

With this particular breed I don't like surprises, and this struck me as being just a little over the top. Should I worry? Are there more surprises coming?

Oh that's hilarious! LOL. Sorry, I just think it's kind of funny when animals do things like that. I think it reminds us that they do have a personality and mind of their own. I don't really know what to tell you on this one. I've never experienced something like that before with a dog. I know with a cat, I would have a spray bottle filled with water handy, but I don't know how a dog would react to that. Good luck with her.

(Oh and by the way, in regards to your other thread here in this forum, check out a Kong for your dog. You can get them at pretty much any petstore. You can fill it with just about anything, through peanut butter is the most popular. It should keep your pup entertained for hours trying to get it out)
