Any Chance We Can Have a Subform for Progressive Christians?

I would like to be able to discuss, for example, Christ's teaching methods, interpretations of parables, non-subtitutionary salvific theology, etc. etc. without being attack in the same broken record way by Biblical Literalists. I would like to be able to discuss Gnosticism, the Christian imagery in the Koran, the core unity of all religions, the problems with word choice and translation, and so on, without being pelted with brimstone by ignorant people.
