Just wanted to see if there were any regular runners here in the Reformed area?

I have bad knees, ankles and feet from karate. It wasn't until I was 30 that I started running so all of the old injuries just made it difficult to heal after a long run. It got so bad I would take an anti-inflammatory an hour before I ran to get the swelling down. Right now I do a lot of bad work and some jump rope. I find jump rope affects my ankles but my feet and knees can handle it.
I do miss running.
What if the pain doesn't want to leave?

I use to enjoy running but have too many injuries to continue with any real commitment.
My son and I have been back to boxing the last month. We keep it up through the winter but as soon as it gets nice out we crank up the workouts to every other day. We jump rope for rounds and this has been a blessing to someone who loved to run but can't.
I can do 30 min. straight and get a good cardio workout in.
