  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Guganmite Saga- Anubis Rising
a Novel by Jesse Raymond Bassett
In the ancient times, a prophecy was foretold. In modern times, that prophecy will be fulfilled!

PROLOGUE- The Rise of Anubis Foretold:
_________________________________________________________________
The hot summer sun baked the royal palace as its inhabitants suffered. This was Egypt. Pharaoh was with his priests trying to see the future. Inside the heart of the palace, he waited. The priests began to chant as they lit incense. Imophet, the high priest walked up to Pharaoh and put his hand on his shoulder.
"Do you believe in the power of the gods my liege?" he asked. Pharaoh nodded his head.
"I do believe in the power of the gods. Show me what is to come!" came the loud reply from the king. Imophet nodded and moved his hands over Pharaoh's eyes. It was then he saw it. He was in a familiar place.... the temple outside of Cairo. What he saw there made him mad. He saw men in strange clothing digging around and trying to decipher the hieroglyphics. There were five men in all. One of them picked up a piece of pottery and handed it to the leader.
"Professor, this inscription... it's quite disturbing," said one.
"Let me see it...." came the professor's reply. He began reading and his eyes grew wide. "Gentlemen, we must tell the British government of our findings here. It is mandatory. If my reading of this inscription is correct, we all are in grave danger," the two other men beside him laughed.
"Danger? Professor do you really believe in curses?"
"We should not have disturbed Ramses' tomb. The inscription reads that any who dig up the remains of Pharaoh, are subject to a terrible fate. They will die by the sword of Anubis. Now as you both remember... Anubis in Egyptian mythology is the god of the dead," the men continued to laugh.
"Die by the sword of Anubis? Let him taste the bullets from my gun!" It was then that a loud noise was heard behind them. The three men turned around and saw him. It was Anubis. He was exactly what Egyptian mythology claimed: half man, half dog. The god drew his sword, and quickly killed the three archaeologists. He then looked towards Ramses' and howled into the night. Ramses' then saw thousands of Anubis' troops attacking the world and conquering it. As the vision faded, they heard Anubis laughing. Pharaoh then realized he was back in the palace.
"Imophet, what can we do to stop such a catastrophe from occurring?"
"Nothing my liege. Anubis will rise... and when he does, he will conquer the world. We have foreseen this.... and praise Ra, it will not happen in our lifetime!" Imophet replied. Pharaoh nodded and began walking out of the room. He then drew his sword and turned around. Knocking down the buckets of incense, he turned around; his face red with rage.
"Damn the gods! Damn them all! Egypt will not fall to the powers of Anubis! Nor will the world! Tomorrow we ride to conquer the world before the resurrection of the god of the dead. Pharaoh has spoken," and with that, the king left the astonished priests, setting out to conquer the known world..... in an effort to save it.....
