  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I want my kids to be hoeschooled, if I have them. The only issue might be the social thing, which is easily dealt with. That way, early exposure to unacceptable stimuli can be avoided. But then there is the issue of letting them out there. That can be made easier by adequate preparation, I suppose.

The biggest misconseption(sp) about homeschoolers is the "social issue." As an anti-social person I spent my first 9 years in public school and 4 years homeschooled. I say again - ANTI-social. A lot of socialization public school did me. *rolls eyes* It's taken me 5 years to overcome my "social issues."

Not mme. I am quite aware that many things I carry around might not be true. Iknew Flute was intelligent and stuff, that's why I actually defended it once, myself.

I was never social. my social life depended on how socil my few friends were.
