  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Tired, too. I waited up until hubby got home from work last night/this morning at 4. It's not too bad considering I'm usually up that late anyway, but then we tried going to bed...and God forbid our cats actually sleep during the hours we do -_-''

Alright, let's start with interesting character combos then. Princess? Peasant girl? Prince? Knight? Wizard (a la Beowulf)?

What if (this is something I've toyed with before) there was this guy. What's special about him or whatever happens is something we'll figure out later. But there's a marble statue of a fair maiden, either he's never seen it before and is absolutely enchanted or it's something very familiar with and he likes looking at. Somehow, in some way, the statue comes to life. She'd be sweet in innocent like a mix of Giselle from Enchanted and Thalassa.

You try! Toss out character or scenario ideas.
