I have objections against two rules:
1. Off-topic posts will not be allowed - I go off-topic all the time and think threads with off-topic comments are more fun, nicer, and more interesting.
2. I like it that we can discuss mod decisions until now; that will not be possible any longer. That's what I hated about the old system.

I'm very hopeful with the announcement. We need firm guidelines...the wiki is too wishy washy imo.

Lee seems like a very reasonable fellow, so I think this may be better implemented than before. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Monetize is an odd word to use in connection with a football... with a football team maybe.
