  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

the only one that really opened the floodgate was 'Grave of the fireflies', so sad that i can't stand to watch a second time.

a few tears squeezed out in 'Full Metal Alchemist' and 'Kenshin' movie.
Oh, I know, Grave of the Fireflies is definitely a tear jerker, I almost couldn't stand it.

I haven't seen the Kenshin movie yet, but I hope to soon. Atleast now I know to have a box of tissues with me.;)

I also cried at the end of Gundam 0080...not the most happiest ending.:(

That's all I can think of now, if I think of more, I'll get back to ya...

Towards the end of Please Teacher!, Love Hina, Chobits, and the Oh My Goddess! OVA it gets really emotional, and there have been a few episodes of Ranma ½ that have that effect, also. That's all that I can remember seeing, although there's probably more.

If you want to include manga in this, Ai Yori Aoshi does also (I've only been reading the manga sofar).

I'm a softy. That's all I can say. I've had many encounters in Pokemon where I would cry. But hey, I cried during some parts in The Lion King.

I haven't seen too much anime on television that produced waterworks. I think there was one Ranma 1/2 one where I laughed so hard I cried. Can't quite remember.

at the end of Episode 23 of Excel Saga...

*Spoilers*

When Lord Illpalatzo shot Excel. It was done so incredibly well and was a great set up for Episode 24, which believe it or not is possibly my fav episode of the series.

Strangely enough, I didn't cry at Grave of the Fireflies, but I was moved by it. I'm not a heartless meanie. =P Though I did cry towards the end of Ah My Goddess. I think romance and very happy endings touch me more and prompts me to cry instead of very sad things.

Though somehow I managed to cry a lot at the end of FFX (a video game), so I don't understand how I didn't cry at Grave of Fireflies. *shrug*

I just remember something.... The part in Wolf's Rain when Blue and Pops (I forget his name) reunited after Blue spent days with on her own. I pretty sure there were other scenes I got tearing. A person and pet scene are allways the most touching for me. I think I also got tearing at some moments in Inuyasha as well.
