Tomorrow morning I’ll be attending the old Anglican church I studied in to be a layreader. My wife and I were married there. My grams still attends and I thought it would be nice to attend worship with her, to pray with her after a round of health issues my grandfather has suffered through.

Here’s the question; should I take part in the Lord’s Supper?

The minister is a broad or low Anglican, the parishioners are high Anglican, the service is a plan Canadian Book of Prayer service.

Yours in the Lord,

jm

I didn't make it. The insomnia has been horrible the last week so I stayed home to sleep. I don't feel bad for missing church when I suffer from lack of sleep, not at all, if I go too long without forcing myself to sleep I become really sick.

Maybe next Sunday.

Being that insomnia has bought me more time to answer, then I would say if they preach the Gospel you can take communion.

Concerning insomnia, I used to sleep like a rock and now my sleep is starting to get more finicky (sinus infection, neck, back, etc.) I put James White is one of his debates, or the Dividing Line, and it tends to put me to sleep (even though I enjoy listening.)

I had sinus surgery and it worked but it doesn’t necessarily last. My nasal passages narrowed again. I’m going to a sleep clinic next month.

I’ve had insomnia for 20 years now. I sleep 7 or 8 hours one, maybe two nights a week. The rest of the time I get about 3 -5 hours. It was never a problem until recently, I’m not as young as I use to be and I really feel it now. My body shudders when I try to get up, I shake and my stomach starts to turn. But, I never miss work and I read a lot. I still lift weights and practice martial arts once in a while. The Doc said my EKG is good, I’m heathy, but after 10 years of using sleeping pills twice a week I threw them all out. Im banking on the sleep study to clear up the issue.

Yours in the Lord,

jm
