Angels/demons can 'see' your thoughts/feelings ?

According to scripture, what allows our angel to help us, is the words of God (scripture) that we speak consistently regarding our life issues.

Ps 103:20
20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

When we speak and believe Gods word (scripture) that pertains to our life situations this also affects our emotions.

The "fight" of faith that scripture refers to is the battle we have overcoming the feelings and emotions that scream in our ear things that oppose what God tells us in his word.

That makes the mind the battlefield where our victory or our loss is determined.

Many of the thoughts we have are not our thoughts. They are the suggestion of demons presented to influence us. Scripture tells us how to deal with those thoughts.

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Our attitude helps or hinders us in how we approach life.

It really does not make any difference whether demons and/or angels can "read" our emotions, etc., or not.
What makes the difference is what a person is saying not what a person is feeling. Why? Because we are instructed to walk by faith, not by sight.

I do believe demons/evil spirits can observe ones countenance and attitude. They can't however read your thoughts. They only know what they observe you reacting/responding to.

It is believed that auras may be viewed by the naked eye, though some psychics, like Edgar Cayce, believe this ability weakens with age. Focused training may be undergone in an attempt to improve one's ability to see auras. Layers of aura are seen as separate and distinct, yet connected to all the remaining layers. In the books of Carlos Castaneda, auras are referred to as luminous cocoons.

Butler has connected auras with clairvoyance, and etheric, mental, and emotional emanations, and classifies the aura into two main types; etheric and spiritual.[1] Robert Bruce classifies auras into three types; etheric, main, and spiritual.[2] Various books have been written that derive various personality traits based upon the specific colors of the different layers of the aura.[3][4] Auras are thought to be related to the etheric subtle body, and to serve as a visual measure of the state of the health of the physical body.[5] Auras are not thought to be actual light, but a translation of other unknown sensory readings that is added to our visual processing. So the guy was just being tempted by himself. Sorry but I don't agree. Especially since when you've had a bit of experience with deliverence or just plain ministry, that stuff can stop or fade to virtually nothing from one session when a stronghold is broken. Lust is just one example but it can be any area. You didn't 'change' your character, you just instantly got set free and 'suddenly' the little tempting voices disappear or fade to a pathetic little squeak that you can easily ignore.

Character and choice plays a part as well obviously but we're talking about the spiritual aspect here.

I've had enough interaction with spiritual stuff to know that they can read you like an open book. But that whole concept makes some people squemish. But that's just the spirit realm regardless of how it makes people feel. We get our protection from the devil from God and by doing the right thing, not by hoping the devil won't see us or can't read our thoughts.

I too believe that although they may not perceive our every thought, they are aware of what goes through the minds of men unless we are walking with our full armour on and under God's protection then their understanding may be weakened, certainly when we pray in the spirit they don't understand.

I agree. As a matter of fact, I'm more inclined to believe what Pastor Johnson is saying because I think it more likely that there is a real thing that the enemy is misusing than that the enemy has come up with something original.

I, too, have heard this elsewhere, though I don't remember where.

As to support for an aura:

EX 34:33 When Moses finished speaking to them, he put a veil over his face. 34 But whenever he entered the LORD's presence to speak with him, he removed the veil until he came out. And when he came out and told the Israelites what he had been commanded, 35 they saw that his face was radiant. Then Moses would put the veil back over his face until he went in to speak with the LORD.

Why, if our minds were soundproof, would we need to be transformed by renewing them with the Word? God gives us sound minds, but the Enemy sets about trying to ruin our renewed minds by invading our thoughts...and yes, demons talk to me in my mind all the time. That's where we have to fight.

You are correct when you say that "talk" to us in our minds.

They do that by giving us thoughts. The mind is the battlefield because once the thought comes we either accept it as our thought and go with it, or if we know what the Word says we reject that thought.

Even then many times there is a battle in our minds over the thought before we decide which way were are going.

I haven't seen any mention of reading the mind or hearts of men in the scriptures but after thousands of years of experience dealing with mankind you would figure they simply have the experience necessary to have a pretty good idea of what's going on within a person, but of course it wouldn't be foolproof.
