Have any of you felt that you've ever seen angels? I think I have. I'm not talking about knowing that you've got angels watching over you - I've plenty stories of that!

However, one time my mom was driving and I saw these people stranded on the side of the road and they were pushing their car. I told my mom we should stop to help them, but she said no and kept on driving. However, I kept telling her that we should really help them. If anything, we could call my dad if we ended up needing that.

She finally turned around and by the time we got to where they could've been by only manually pushing a car, it was gone - completely disappeared out of sight!

I think God was testing my heart - and maybe my mom's heart, too.

I was left with a feeling of awe, but my mom just kept coming up with theories that these "people" had found a way or were faking that they were having car problems. I think they were angels.

Anybody have similar stories?

I don't have any similar stories to share, but I just wanted to say that that's a really cool story.

I have a friend who is a Christian writer and she is looking for people who have had experiences with Angels to submit them for a book she's writing. If you want more info, let me know. She's a member of this site, so I could give you info to PM her.

Mine is a similar story of a missed opportunity.

I was invited to a baby shower about a month after having a miscarriage. I wasn't sure if I could handle going, so I took a long walk on the beach that morning, and I was praying. The waves were beautiful and white, and the sun was bright, like the day after a storm. There was a man dressed all in white who I had never seen before. He seemed to be raising his hands praising God, as the waves rushed over his feet. As I walked by him, he shouted at me, "Take your shoes off!"

I didn't, but have always regretted it. I keep thinking he was saying, "Take off your shoes. You are standing on holy ground."

I don't know if she was an angel, but once I was sitting in Pershing Park in Washington DC, and this beautiful woman came into the park, stood in a public place and began to sing, "How Great Thou Art." She had a beautiful voice to match her beautiful face, and she didn't let anyone interfere with her song of praise to God. She merely walked into the park, raised her hands and sang.

But we all may well have seen angels and not realized it. My grandmother lived near some railroad tracks, the first house someone would come to in town if they were walking from city to city along the tracks as people often did during the early part of the 20th century. Travellers, mostly folks we would call "bums." would come to her house asking for something to eat, and my grandma would ALWAYS feed them because of the passage in the Bible that says, "Be sure to give hospitality to strangers, because many have entertained angels this way without being aware of it."

I'll leave it up to you to look up that reference to find the book, chapter and verse.

So the idea is that mabey it was angels pushing a car down the side of the road? What for?
Because, God wanted to know our hearts, our compassion. . .angels can be everywhere. . doing anything. . .why does there have to be any "what for?" What happened was physically impossible for humans.

I don't think I've ever actually seen an angel unfortunately. I've prayed to God that he would let me see an angel because I hear of angel sightings every now and then but so far I have not seen one to my knowledge. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I am generally skeptical of such things? I don't try to be skeptical, it's just the way I am.

[bible]hebrews 13:2[/bible]

You may have seen one and not know it!

A lot of people who think they have seen angels did not realize it at the time, but only later, upon reflection.

Why all the interest in Angels? They're only created beings.
They are created beings, but we aren't talking about worshiping angels - we're talking about God using them as messengers!
