So I got this CD in the mail today, and it's beautiful. It truly celebrates the birth of Christ, with the majority of the album describing Israel's history and its need for a true, saving king. The instrumentation is great, with a few instrumental songs. There's also several guest vocals. Good lyrics, both endearing and heart-wrenching. I highly recommend it, even if one isn't an Andrew Peterson fan.

Thanks for the update! Didn't realize he had a new album out. Have a few of his CD's sitting here on my desk. Got to meet him about 8 or 9 years ago at a small teen conference that I brought kids to right after he released his Walk album. Great sound and great lyrics kind of like Bebo Norman and Caedmon's Call. FYI...Jeremy Casella is another new great one just coming up. I think he's got a few songs you can listen to on his sight.
