  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Shoulda Been Born Israeli
Let me tell you a story,
It's been told before,
People refuse to listen though,
It isn't the same story as you have read,
No but you have seen it happen,
You may not relize it at the second,
But many live with this is silence,
So sit and read this,
And remember even though,
The story is made up,
This happens to many people,
A girl was born,
Into this world,
With a tinkle in her eyes,
A smile on her face,
In her first few years,
She seemed so happy,
Didn't have a care in the world,
But it wasn't so,
Her heart was hurting,
Her parents fought alot,
Her dad was a drunken,
Her mom was in a serious depression,
But she didn't relize that at the moment,
For she was only young,
But once she reached her teens,
The problems starting setting in,
Her parents divorced,
And she was left in the cold,
She was going through her own mental problems,
Hoping her life would change,
Soon her joy was gone,
And she was living emptily,
She started into depression,
Just crying in private,
But in public had walls up,
She stopped believing in everything she once did,
And thought it would help,
But it didn't,
She was too hurt,
Too lost,
Felt useless,
She felt as though,
Life would never get happy,
That she would be stuck in hurting all the time,
She was close to death,
But something kept her from it,
Everything seemed to get worse,
Her life was shorting,
She could feel it,
But was she alone?
She wondered,
One night she went outside,
And looked up in the sky,
For any answers to her questions,
Something inside her was empty and broken she knew it,
But could anything help?
She got involved in sin,
She lost herself and her life,
She sent it away,
But only because she felt so helpless,
She would sit and ponder,
In her thoughts everyday,
Considering the optitions,
She had to help her pain,
She was close to death,
She could really feel it,
Then one day,
Something woke her up,
Her heart was crying she relized,
She needed help,
She knew where to turn,
Back to her past,
Of her life,
She quickly remembered,
All the times she was young,
Reading her Bible and praying,
For God to protect her parents,
It had been so long,
But if God was out there,
Why did He do this to her?
She waited a long time.
Then cried out in pain,
To her lost faith,
Over the next few weeks,
She felt like she knew what she was missing,
She was missing the truth of it all,
What else could compare,
To her pain though?
Would she ever find,
Her life was fixed,
She could tell she was missing something,
She knew it,
But she put in behind her,
But she couldn't get the feeling outta her,
One day she gave it all up,
Fell on her knees,
Begging God to free her,
She remember everything she hads been through,
And thought if God was real He would certianally help her,
But she wasn't so sure,
She asked God to show her,
She asked God to take her lfie away from her
But a few monthes later,
She relized if she didn't give Him her whole,
Soul,
She would be even more wasted,
Then she camer to her senses,
Begged God to forgive her,
And finally felt free,
She could feel happy again,
She knew the heartaches of life,
Would always be there,
But without God,
She'd be nothing,
This story isnt true,
But I want to tell you no matter what,
Remember God loves you,
In heartaches,pain or death,
He's there for you,
And that will never change
