This thread is for all of us out there who shudder with pleasure when listening to Orthodox chant, who value feeling a connection with Christians so long before us. How do you enjoy your Christian heritage?
Personally, I have a soft spot for some of the original musical settings of the Mass. There's something Medieval Christian music that I can't understand, I can't understand this kind of charm it has that seems as if it's in my DNA. There's this raw feeling of listening to the music and comprehending that the people who heard it then have been dead for an awfully long time, but God has always been the same.
