I dreamt that I was in a place that was fully white. Then I saw a man. His hair was short, his hair was white and grey and had purple highlights in their. Although he was old, he had no wrinkles on his face. Also he had a younger and strong look to him. We were at a good distance from each other and he said somethings to me. I woke up and had no recollection whatsoever about what he said to me. Also when I woke up I felt as if I had an outer body experience. Anybody has any ideas, thoughts about this? Could it be an angel or could it have been a demon?

This dream has done nothing for you except getting you to dwell on it. It has not brought you closer to God, etc. Ignore it. If you find yourself thinking about it, turn to prayer until that feeling passes.

Huh, kind of reminds me of Moses.

I wouldn't think that was "demonic"... unless the things he said were evil... right?

The demonic and evil is pretty easy to see... bad feelings, hate, lust, things of fear and the flesh, things which contradict Scripture.

Edit: I should actually put a note here... evil is not always to see and is of course very deceptive, but if it contradicts Scripture, regardless of how glowing it may seem... then one knows what it really is. Then it is easy to see, is what I meant.

what was his tone of voice? and how did you feel after hearing his voice? this kinda made me think of the passage were paul sees a macedonia man in a vision asking for help(acts 16:6-10) I'm just throwing something out their. might be of some help.

Could this be the trinity you saw?

Father God as the old man with white and gray hair and purple (royalty; kingly). He had no wrinkles, because God is ageless.

Jesus Christ, God the Son as the younger and stronger look to him - same person, just different appearance

The Holy Spirit as the "out of body" experience, since he is a spirit and if you are a believer in Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells within you

Everything would be white because white is a symbol of purity and righteousness and God is the totality of righteousness

I'm thinking this must be related to a passage of scripture in Revelation

Robin, in my previous response I suggested that your dream could be about the trinity. I saw that very strongly. But, then I saw something else that concerns me and it is also connected with another dream you shared:

I had a dream and within that dream I saw my friend and he did not recognize me at all. I don't know why.

I asked you on that thread to pray and ask the Lord if he was the friend in your dream who did not know you. That is what was jumping out at me.

Then, with this dream, I saw the trinity. True believers have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them. I saw your "out of body" experience as perhaps another message that the Holy Spirit is not in you.

I obviously don't know you or anything about you, so it is not my place to make a judgment. I just saw that this is possible that this could be what God is saying to you, and so that is why I asked in the other thread about how your relationship with the Lord is.

You see, a lot of people have been given the notion that they can pray a prayer at an altar or say some magic words and then they have their ticket into heaven, but the Bible says we need to confess Jesus as our LORD - Lord means he is the boss and that we are living in submission to him; in obedience.

It is written in the Bible that many will say "Lord, Lord" on that day but he will say "I never knew you."

Again, I'm not saying that this is your case. This is just what is jumping out at me, and so I am bringing it before you for your prayerful consideration.

Without trying to pinpoint who exactly he is, I will just bring up some characteristics.

A symbolic old man might personify experience, wisdom, shrewdness based on experience, sometimes a calm that comes from being jaded by seeing too much hype. He didn't have wrinkles, so he had gained the respect without too much weathering.

Christians sometimes see purple in visions of the Holy Spirit. But purple is also seen as a playful color, sometimes mystical and tending more to act emotionally than through rote memorization and legalistic obedience. Purple is not a color for business shirts, but for informal social gatherings... expression of personality.

White can mean purity, but also change (dare we say the word again!).

He communicated with you directly, but did not come close. Think about whether that felt stand-offish, or like he was too holy/respectable to stand near you, or that there were no obstacles to your hearing far away, or that he was in a hurry...

Short hair can imply a few things. Hair can represent his level of authority, or the protection surrounding him, or the way he presents himself publicly. Short hair might be a sign of controlled, concise, tasteful and self-restrained authority. Compared to someone who might overdo the hair thing, like Zaphod Beeblebrox in Hitchhiker's Guide. Self-promotion vs. professionalism.

The fully white room could be ethereal, but could also show that everything has transitioned so much, that you can't get a handle on anything familiar. You were placed in a completely unfamiliar zone.

And someone communicated things to you, making you feel like they paid attention, but did not communicate enough for you to know what to do next, or understand what was going on. You might have walked away feeling a little guilty that you didn't get it, when in reality it was intended to leave you in the smoke.

Agreed, as in these are good thoughts, and I wouldn't center per se on a single person or interpretation. (Though I did offer one possible suggestion which came to mind.)

Hi everyone. The tone of this man's voice was normal like any person. I have been to this place before already in a dream. In that particular dream I was standing with two angels (or God and Jesus Christ himself) and they were showing me a demon attacking a girl and killing her.

In terms of the unknown man in a dream I don't think he could have come near to me and that is why he was standing afar off.

In terms of the unknown man in a dream I don't think he could have come near to me and that is why he was standing afar off.

Pray about what the girl represents -- that seems to be a focal point. God could be trying to show you an attack over an innocent party, so you could pray over the situation. Or be more aware of potential dangers.

Since our prayers can lead to God preventing troubles, and His perfect will is that none should perish, He might be showing you so you would understand His heart in the situation.

Toss a few symbols around and see if any fit ... the church, a small undefended country, an old friend... I am guessing she does not represent something you are a part of (or you would be part of the symbolism, maybe).
