I've been thinking about this idea for about 6 months and only told a few people - 2 have agreed with me (both agnostic/atheist) and one, did not like the idea at all.. (she, likes the idea of spirituality but doesnt really follow anything)..
Here goes...
Firstly, think about all the decisions you have made in your life - Or a few you have made just then, like clicking on this topic.
Were they the best decisions you could have made with the information you had at that particular time?
What I'm getting at here is how we as animals - or mammals - or primates - or humans make choices.
If you could hypothetically go back in time and have your memory of that time erased, would you make the exact same choices as you did the first time?
My feeling is you would.
I personally have made the best possible choices with the information i have had. - And I would, given the same information make those same choices again.
Obviously it would be impossible to recreate the EXACT same situation twice, but it is an interesting concept in my opinion.
In conclusion (this is where some of you won't like this): We have no choices. We as animals will always choose the best option, or the option we think is best at that time.
Would you if you could go back, click on this topic again? Would you make the same choice?
