I know based on what I've read by many Creationists, that a few of you are a little upset that some people are suggesting that Creation Science is a hindrance to coming to Christ - even though it is not. Many of you are also getting tired of being labeled "part of the problem," and so that's what I wanted to talk about.

Creation Science, the way it is portrayed today, is relatively new but many people have been saved through it. In no way shape or form are Creationists a hindrance to evangelism, and many people including myself have come to Christ because of Creation Science, when before we would not have. We are all growing and learning about the world God created and it is truly and amazing and wonderful thing.

However, what I wanted to remind you of, is that we should not engage in attacking our brothers in Christ. Some people will come to Christ in other ways, and we should let God do the work - God can use all individuals for His glory. I know many of you want to retaliate when you read someone say "Creation Science leads people away from Christ," but remember - we should turn the other cheek and stay true to Jesus Christ. Let us not be involved in bickering amongst ourselves, but let us be involved in saving the lost and turning America's heart back to the God of the Universe, Jesus Christ.

So rather than get involved in petty arguments, remember to stay true to the goal that Jesus Christ has set before us. We are the Body of Christ, and we all differ in some ways, but we should all be united when it comes to spreading the Truth of God's Word. Let the bickering, stay bickering - just make sure you aren't a part of it and God will use you for wonderful things.

May the Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all,

You are right. BUT--boy I get torqued off when our brothers join hands with atheists to try and make us YECs look bad. Because we believe God's word in a literal sense, the way He intended to convey it, we have brothers joining the ungodly to attack us! What gives?

But You're right, we shouldn't spend our time arguing with them. It doesn't do anyone any good

We know what we believe. I suggest we start throwing coals on the tongues. If they are so wrapped up in being right, then tell them they can be right. We can be wrong if thats what they want. We will not mind being the least. We will not mind being called the fools.

What argument is there left to give? Nothing can be said that has not been said. No one will be converted or changed by what we say. So let us lay to rest, let God call us His children by making peace. Let their accusations lie on deaf ears. Let them call us the unintelligent, the unwise, the unknowing, the simple. Remember what Jesus said about being the least. Let us be the servants that we are called to be. Not the oppressors trying to shove our beliefs down anyone's throat.

I have been one of the outspoken and often times rude in my belief of a young earth. I apologize. I have struggled with trying to make peace, but then start arguing. Let us hold each other countable as Christ holds us accountable. Let them believe what they want, there is no changing them.

It is Jesus Christ that we need to focus more on, not how we can win the creation arguement. I am guilty of this. To be more like Christ is to have mercy and compassion, be humble and forgiving, and to have grace and love for all. Time is short, and we must hold ourselves accountable to trying to be like Christ and let no debate/arguement take us away from our real goal, to become like Christ.

I would like to start a Bible study. Where we can divert ourselves from the debate to learning more about God and His Word.

I hope we can create a bond, a bond that will hold each other accountable in Christ. So that we may not condemn but correct and uplift. I want to be more like Christ, and I know you do too.

Take Care and God Bless

:amen: Amen! And one thing we should always remember is that our fellow Christians who happen to be Theistic Evolutionists, Gap Theorists, Old Earth Creationists, or even those who subscribe to a different creation scenario are just as much Christian as we are. Just because we disagree on how exactly the universe was created doesn't mean that we aren't equal in the eyes of Christ!
