Firstly, to the moderators of this forum. I hope I may be forgiven for breaking the "Christians-only" protocol. This isn't about me, or for me.
Though, being an atheist, I personally don't believe in the power of prayer (besides the positive impact it might have on a psychological level), Amie, who I love very much and care a great deal for, does hold that belief. And though she often prays for others, or might request one for others, she'd never pray for herself or ask others to do so. That's where I come in...
I know she's going through a difficult time at the moment, (as we all do at times, more or less) with the burden of many responsibilities on her shoulder, tough obstacles to negotiate, and significantly life-changing desicions to make, while struggeling with insomnia, and every unexpected turn life throws at her. I'm not going to elaborate beyond that. To my opinion paths may cross and lifes will intersect, but other's stories are never fully yours to openly share without concent.
I'd appreciate it, because I know Amie would appreciate it, if people here could say a prayer for her.
She could use all the love, help, moral support, and guidance she can get.
Thanks everybody, and take care.
With best regards,
Marcel.
