You might have to tell me about it! Something has come up and I might have to call someone really important at 9:15pm about something. It's on 9pm my time I think, Atlantic, which is an hour ahead of Eastern. I am hoping that maybe it might actually be on at 10. I think that last year it was on at 10, but I think it was a different channel. I am really hoping it will be at 10!

I hope it's on at 10 this year. Because it's not the kind of thing I want my children watching. But maybe it will be on at a different time in your time zone Pinkberry. And wasn't American Idol on last night? It was here. I didn't watch it though. I'm not into it.

I'm surprised that I didn't see any of the advertisement for the premiere. If it weren't for my home page having the T.V. listings I would have missed it. I haven't been watching T.V. on Wednesdays since there hasn't been anything I like to really watch.

I'm looking forward to it. I love Tyra. She reminds me so much of my sister. And I love Janis...she reminds me of my Mom when she was younger.

I'm hoping though that there isn't going to be a lot of whining or fighting this season. All the backstabbing remarks and high drama aren't why I watch it.

I did. You missed it?

I'm not going to say much about last nights episode. I was really glad that a few of my favorites made it in. And more than a little perplexed at some of the judges choices.

I'm glad that Tiffany got in. She was picked last. I'm glad that she changed her life and came back after last season. Last season seeing her so broken hearted about always failing in her life...it was just really good to see her take that and make a possitive change.

I was very heartbroken that Mary (the plus size contestant from last year) was turned down again. I was glad of what Tyra said to her about it though. I really hope that she gets tenacious about pursuing her desires for this career. I think she's beautiful. I hope she doesn't give up.

I think it would be worth while for Tyra to do a Plus Size Only Americas Next Top Model. I know that the industry isn't ready for it. But American women sure are. The average size of American woman is now a size 18. Average size!

Should be fun. I'm really looking foward to the makeover episode next week. Don't miss that one Canadiancarebear...it's one of the most fun IMO. ;)

I tried to answer this. I really did. But, the best answer I can give you is: if you don't know why this show is inappropriate for young children...then my explanation would be lost on you anyway.

I don't think it's a bad show either, but I can see why you might not want them watching it. Although, I don't know how old your kids are. I watch it with my mom.

I didn't see any advertisements either. I would have missed it too if it wasn't for this thread. Thanks Canadiancarebear! ;)

I like Tyra too. She seems so nice, layed back, and fun!

I'm really sad about Mary too. I think she was really preaty. And that plus size model thing is a great idea. It would be really interesting.

Tyra foolishly sent home the girl with the best body yesterday (the waitress). And the dumb photographers called her a "slab of meat".

Since when is it wrong for a woman to be 5'8", 135lbs? That chick was the bomb.

Instead, I have to put up with gap-tooth Brandy for another week. Uck!

All the plus-size models need a competition of their own. It's not fair that they have to compete with all these other women that are 6'2", 114lbs.

Look like a bunch of Olive Oil's.
Right...

I agree with the above posts. I'd like to go on there but I'm 4'11" so I don't think they'll take me.

You'd probably be a shoe-in for America's Next Top Hobbit!

You'll just need to work on growing some hair on your feet. (If it's not already there, that is....)
