Are there any deals y'all have bought or are interested in?

I don't see much deals for myself per say, ive eyed on the keurig single serving and maybe a watch to buy for my mom's bday present next month. Sneakers maybe, but I don't need much of anything these days.

Lol. I haven't got any worries about that sort of thing. My grandparents aren't all that old either. Just not the most patient folks with new technology, but they do eventually get the hang of things!

LOL! Well there were lots of people who WERE concerned. Alexa would turn itself on in the middle of the night, turn the lights on and off, and laugh in an evil-like manner.

I bought some curtains and rods today on Amazon Prime but didn't save anything. Otherwise, I didn't find anything else I was interested in and I looked.

eh, there wasn't much this year I was interested in buying. In the past, I've had babies during prime days and was able to get nice baby things at good prices.

Well, I got birthdays & anniversary presents taken care of at least! I hate shopping, like to get it finished fast. 10 minutes on Prime. Done! I agree the sales weren't really the best, but they had some pretty good deals on some things.

that's good. Prime day is sorta like black Friday. You have to have a plan to find the best deals on what you want. I just aimlessly scanned through. There were good deals on the tech stuff but I really didn't need anything. I did end up getting a comforter before the deals ended.

You are welcome. I wanted you to know I was not just being paranoid and blowing smoke. It is a real issue.

I do hope that eventually their security protocols will be able to ward off this threat, because I really like the tech.

Thanks for the info. I had heard lots of feedback about this device having a "mind of its own", so to speak. What comes to mind is that movie about the "smart house" that turned on the owner. I will NEVER be getting one o' these things. LOL!
