God has been working many miracles in Guatemala recently. We know that there are about 500,000 Guatemalans that are going to soon be accepted into the Orthodox Church (there are still thousands of more seekers out there). Now this podcast talks about a miraculous orphanage and the women's monastery connected to it.
This is an excellent 40 minute podcast featured on Ancient Faith Radio.

It is all about a miraculous children's orphanage in the center of Guatemala City, Guatemala. The Orphanage miraculously ended up in the hands of Orthodox Nuns in Guatemala from Holy Trinity Monastery which is on Lake Amatitlan.

From what I understand, most of these orphans are Orthodox Christians as a result of being at the orphanage and according to the podcast, they all have a great love for the Orthodox Church and for the Nuns that care for them.

Currently they are working on moving the "Hogar" from the center of busy & dangerous Guatemala City to out on Amatitlan Lake alongside the Women's Monastery where there is lots of land, lots of nature and it's peaceful. The old Hogar will be converted into an Orthodox Theological/Learning center for all the new converts to Orthodoxy that are coming soon in Guatemala. It will also remain a place for new orphans to be taken for introduction to the Orphanage.

It's wonderful to see so many miracles, the hundreds of thousands of new Guatemalans that will soon become Orthodox Christians, it's wonderful to see this orphanage providing orphans with a wonderful home centered in the Orthodox Faith, and it's wonderful to see Orthodox Nuns helping it all along.
As always though, and as the podcast mentions, they are still always in need of help from other Christians. Visiting the Ancient Faith Radio website and the website for the Hogar can provide more information on how we can all help them out.
Glory to God for this wonderful service and for the wonderful miracle!
