Amazing flowers

The lotus flower is an amazing flower. It grows in the pond, which is full of dirty water and mud. Yet it is not stained by them, its leaves always stay clean. It has a self cleaning property. It is a symbol of purity.

Most flowers do not blossom in winter. Plum blossom does. It blossoms in cold winter, bringing message of hope to people. It reminds us the value of endurance.

Its fragrance comes from bitterness and coldness, I was told.
