I have been used by the Lord today for a lovely, lovely thing. I am humbled that He would grant me this opportunity. I hope that those of you reading this find yourself encouraged.
Just about 30-40 minutes ago, in Bangalore, we had the most violent, windy storm we've had in I think two years here. It hailed.
Now, there are two things I must say:
I have never, ever faced hail in my entire life. Secondly, this has NEVER happened here until now in the past two years I've been here.
I took this to the Lord in prayer, and it immediately calmed down. Now we have only a light rain.
I felt I ought to talk to my friend about this amazing thing, and I said to him, "It hailed here!"
He says to me, "Same just now"
This friend lives just south of Bristol. I live in India - note this.
Thus, I thought that the Lord has done this thing for a special reason. I decide to take this to Him, to make a request about the hail over there too, and said to my friend, "Tell me when it stops." (I was being sneaky, not bold!) and left to pray.
Once I was done, I proceeded to check my messages. The reply I found was, "Now"
I have checked with him again, and he is saying that the weather has been reduced to light rain there.
Note the coincidences: it hailed for no reason at all, in an extremely uncommon way, here, and about a continent away in some place south of Bristol, within the same time frame. Upon prayer, the weather was changed in both places, and reduced to a light rain.
If there is anyone here who lives in roughly the same area as him, could you confirm? I trust you will find this report to be true. I checked the weather report for both his and my town to record it, but it does not say anything about hail sadly.
Finally, I would like to tell you that I have been praying for him for a few months now. If you persevere, wonderful things do happen.
