In costume: black flat footed boots which go to her mid calf, black tight tank top, black cargo pants, black fingerless gloves which extend up her lower arm
Power: Amaya can make herself invisible. She unknowingly or knowingly creates a mental block which stops people from seeing her. When she does this she is also undetectable by telepaths or other mental powers. Although she can be detected by sonar, thermal visioning, and her scent (dogs, etc.).
She can also ‘teleport’ so to speak. In reality, she actually moves at an inhuman speed to whatever place she wants to be at. It can only be used over short distances in her sight range and doing it repeatedly wears her down.
She can see in the dark.
History: Amaya was born in the US. Her parents were both from Japan. She has an older brother who was born in Japan and a younger sister. Her brother just recently moved back to Japan. She is fluent in both Japanese and English. She has been taking karate pretty much since she could walk and now is a black belt. She goes to a lot of karate meets and often wins. Her personality could be described as dark and she is rather anti-social and cold towards people. She fights with her parents all the time and mostly locks herself in her room listening to music or surfing the internet. Her younger sister completely idolizes her and tries to act just like her. At school, she simply ignores people and is either ignored or mocked by everyone else. Amaya started to become reclusive when her best friend scorned her and refused to talk to her in 8th grade just to join the cool crowd. She was deeply hurt over that incident and her relationships with people have suffered ever since, especially with girls. She has slowly started to drift away from human companionship. She has also always been rather introverted and blames herself for a lot of the things that happen to her. She trusts no one. She has always had an innate sense of danger and an extremely accurate intuition, which gives support to the fact she blames herself for what happens to her.
