  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I am not exactly in college, but I go to a high-school that is as close to a college as you can get. You have to apply, but they only allow in 32 boys and 32 girls a year. You live in a dorm. The classes are all taught by college proffessors, most of whom, when they arived, actually had to make their test harder. The school is the hardest highschool is SC, and there is only 12 like it in the States. It has a president, not a principal, and is ran by a board of trustees. It does cost to get in, but over 90% is coverred by big businesses and the gov.

Would this be close enough to a college for me to post here.

They only differences I can think of are that we are still minors, so there are a few rules (forced by the parents), and we are still in the 11th and 12th grade.

I don't think that this forum has minimum/maximum age restrictions like the other life stages forums do. After all, people of almost any age might be attending college or looking for information about college. 'College' is a pretty wide term itself as there are lots of different kinds of colleges and even more different courses offered by colleges. People who "go to college" may be studying for a PhD in grad school or taking a pottery class at a community college. They may even be working on finishing a high school diploma at a community college.
