hello i was wondering if there were any alternative fashion fans here? i like dressing up but i enjoy the alternative fashions more, they're more creative and fun.

i mostly like Japanese street fashion, my favorite is lolita and otome kei. pretty girly yeah but it makes me feel pretty

If you love lolita you should learn to sew. You could make some beautiful pieces. If local classes aren’t an option, Craftsy is affordable.

oh~ conveniently enough I'm studying fashion design, I'm not an expert but i can sew i even
sewn a lolita dress its cute, but only one i had trouble when i tried making another one so i need more practice.

that's so cool lol. im still thinking but for now design-wise im wanting to focus on modestly whether its something like lolita or a "spicy" look. there are not a lot of fun modest fashions here in America especially since the fashion industry not that into it. even without Christianity lots of
women feel uncomfortable showing too much but still want to dress up whether cute or spicy
so i just wanna focus on that so there are more creative and fun options for the women like me.
