The concept of allowing God to take control of everything In your life Is hard to comprehend. Hard to accept. It's very hard to let go of certain things In our lives. Things that give us pleasure. Things that satisfi our carnal desires. But let me ask this question. What do you desire to please more? The Flesh? Or The Spirit? How much more gratifiying Is It to please the creator of the earth or to please his creation? Do we honestly know who we are serving?
Be still and know that I am God" Psalms 46:10
How many times do we find ourselves just running through the routine of life and not stoping to actually Know who God Is? To understand who God Is? I know I get to busy for God sometimes. I actually awoke At a house In gillete and saw this thing hanging there. It Had Psalm 46:10 On there. I took that moment to be still and try to understand who God Is. God made me. God Is In control of everything. God created all things. And all things were created for him. We were created for him. We were not created to do our own thing. We were created to give Him GLORY, HONOR, and PRAISE! I am constantly asking myself If I bring those things to the creator of life. To the Christians who say they love God and acknowlegde the Creator Of Life As their savior yet don't bring him Honor, Glory, and Praise need to refocus their attention and their energy.
Let's ask this question to ourselves.
Do we bring the giver of Life Glory?
Do we Honor The redeemer?
Do our actions and thoughts Praise The Creator Of All?
If Not. Then lets refocus everything we have. And become a Vessel unto the LIVING God. I don't know you. But I serve a God who Is alive and very present In this earth. The Living God Is inside of me. He resides In my heart. Let's allow him to use us In everyway. We have to allow him to take everything In our lives. For If we don't then he doesn't fully control our lives.
Romans 8:8:
Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
