All of the tension for nothing...

I just got word that all congregational rules will only be treated as guidelines for posting at this time, but they will not be law.

Site-wide rules will now govern every forum, as well as a site-wide warning/infraction system.

In a sense I think it will probably be better this way; but it is quite frustrating to know that all of the hard work and stress that went into making up our rules was an absolute waste of time.

A lot if damage was caused to relationships as a result of this whole thing. What a shame that is.

If it were just kept simple things might have been different. But that's not the path the majority chose.

Did I miss something here? Does this mean that our new rule system has to be scrapped?
