  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It’s only October
But I can’t get over
How much now ‘bout Christmas,
While Christ they do dismiss.

For Christ’s not in Christmas.
It isn’t His business.
He’s not about Santa
And that propaganda.

He’s not about presents,
On humans dependent
To make life now matter,
But with empty chatter.

He’s not into light shows,
All that is now grandiose,
With glitter a plenty
For those who’ve not any.

The singing of Carols,
While Santa they herald,
Is not about Jesus,
Who from our sins freed us.

The greed and the scams
And the taters and hams
And the candy galore
Do not Christ adore.

So, to celebrate Christ
You must give Him your life.
You must bow now to him,
And forsake all your sin.

You must walk in His ways
For the rest of your days,
And obey his commands,
And on Christ take your stand.

I think with everything going on this world at the moment, the message of "peace on earth and goodwill to all men" could not be more appropriate.

I think with everything going on this world at the moment, the message of "peace on earth and goodwill to all men" could not be more appropriate.

Christmas is a pagan holiday created in the minds of human beings which mixes true religion with idolatry, which God warned his people about much. The celebration of Christmas is not biblical. It is antibiblical. Nonetheless, we should celebrate the birth and life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the true purpose for which he came to the earth which was to deliver us from our slavery (addiction) to sin so that we can now walk in holiness and in righteousness by his grace and in his power. So, just saying that the holiday called "Christmas" is not of God but of man, and it is totally separate from any of our remembrances of what Jesus did for us. Jesus did not ordain the celebration of Christmas, and he is against what that holiday is all about. He is not against us celebrating his life, though. Does that make sense?

that is so true, Christmas is not about Santa or gifts it's about Jesus Birthday
Actually, the holiday called "Christmas" is totally about Santa and gifts, etc., and in reality, it has little to do with true worship of Jesus Christ. And that was the point of the poem, that Jesus is not in Christmas, and he is not the author of the celebration of Christmas. He is not honored by all the glitter and gifts and Santa and such that goes on in his name. What he wants from us is our lives surrendered to him. That is the way he wants to be honored.

Are you familiar with the story of Saint Nicolas? I’m certain that Christ is and that He is very pleased with His servant.

Perhaps for some but for any Christians I know.

Are you familiar with the story of Saint Nicolas? I’m certain that Christ is and that He is very pleased with His servant.

Saint Nicholas

Santa Claus and Saint Nicholas are two different characters. Santa Claus is of Satan, not of God, and he is a false god for he bears the attributes of Almighty God, i.e. his creators have created an image of a man who is trying to be god, who is trying to appear to be god. And who wanted to be God? Satan (Santa) - notice the resemblance in the names?

Santa Claus

The goal of Santa’s creators is to steal the hearts of people away from the One and Only True God to follow after them and their false god, instead.

Satan was an angel in heaven who wanted to be God, so he rebelled against God, along with about a third of the angels, so God cast them down to the earth. One of the prophecies in scripture regarding this fall is found in Isaiah 14:12-14, and many parallels can be formed here between the character of Santa and the character of Satan. Notice how their names are spelled nearly the same, too.

And, what attributes is this false god given? He is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent, meaning he is present in all places at all times, he is all-knowing, all-seeing (like the all-seeing eye of Horus on our national seal), and he is all-powerful. And, what this means is that he has been given the attributes of Almighty God, because he, Santa/Satan, wants to be God.

We all know the lyrics to the song, “He knows when you are sleeping, he knows when you’re awake. He knows when you’ve been bad or good, so be good for goodness’ sake.” But, only God is all seeing and all knowing.

Thus, Santa’s creators made him to imitate God, only not like God at all. He is also able to magically deliver presents to all children across the world in a single night, and be in multiple department stores across the globe all at the same time. So he is also all powerful, and he is able to be nearly everywhere at pretty much the same time, and again, imitating the attributes of God.

And, while Jesus Christ is pictured as a helpless baby in a manger doing nothing but just lying there, Santa comes on the scene in all his glory. He is able to ride through the sky on a sleigh and to deliver gifts to children all across the globe in a single night. And, he asks children across the world to write him letters (like prayers) requesting what they want from him, too. And, children, who have long awaited his return, are anxiously anticipating his soon arrival (like Jesus’ return one day). Again, mimicking God and supplanting Jesus Christ. This is on purpose!

So, who has the hearts of children on Christmas? Jesus Christ? Or, Santa? And, who wanted to be God? And, who masquerades himself as an angel of light? Satan/Santa. So, Santa Claus = Satan’s Claws. His creators have, thus, hoodwinked many, many people. And, it worked, too.
