Aliens go to hell?

It is common christian belief that nonsaved loved ones must and will burn in hell if they do not convert. No smount of pleasentries or promises can make a being who either destroys or tortures our loved ones seem merciful. If you kill or set my child on fire im going to hate you forever, no amount of complex siren songs can change this. I dont need love so much that ill accept such a horrifying master if he claims to love me.

Aliens are most likely fay people on a etheric or astral level of being. I imagine Ken's ideas of existence don't apply to them. Silly human.

You implied that Christians consigned their loved ones to hell. Nothing was said about God, himself.

What if your loved one had done something reprehensible? Perhaps he held up a liquor store, and shot the clerk? Or maybe he beat his wife and she wound up crippled for life? Such things do happen. Those people are part of someone's family.

I have often wondered what those parents unfortunate enough to raise children who grow up to become, for lack of a better word, "evil". Suppose you raised a kid who, in spite of your best efforts, raped a little girl? Would you protect him from the consequences of his actions? Would you get angry at the parents of the little girl for daring to accuse your baby?

It's very easy to sit here in judgment of other people...but suppose it were you?

Of course, I'm talking here about criminal prosecution. Would you consign your son to the death penalty if the child he raped had died?
It would be horrible, it would be painful, it would be unthinkable, wouldn't it?

Now, that is exactly the way Christians would feel about a loved one who is lost. Nobody consigns their loved ones to hell. The thought is horrible, it is painful, it is unthinkable.

heck, even the thought of strangers...you, for instance...facing God's judgment without Christ is painful.

And I don't even believe in hell....

The idea of prosecuting rapists and possibly killing them is not similair to my children going to a place like hell the way the bible provides it. Because my children are not rapists and in the bible everyone who doesnt accept jesus goes there (though what hell actually is is debated) thats the vast majority of the humans whove ever lived. I wouldnt torture rapists either. Even our geneva convention prevents that. .

Hell being horrible wouldnt compell me to serve the master and creater of such a place... it would compell me to hate him for it. Stockholm Syndrome.

Do you have grandchildren? What would you do if someone who you believed was perfectly just maybe even the creater of justice itself set them on fire and they began to scream?

You said you dont believe in hell, alright. Sad that so many christians have and do. I believe the tendency to no longer believe in a fiery hell is a direct result of human morality in our society outgrowing the bible.

Ken said the aliens were corrupted by sin and would be judged by fire.

Dean, I read the site you referred to and his actual blog. I do not see where he said those things. You and your OP site are misrepresenting his view.

You don't seem to be comprehending my explanation nor Ken Ham's comments.

Why do animals need to be redeemed? Try to answer that first and then maybe that will lead you to begin to understand.

Ken Ham is an embarrassment.

The Bible's story is Earth-centric and human-centric. That is because it is a message to us. Contrary to Mr. Ham's claims, the Biblical order of creation, Adam's sin, God's love for man, Christ's incarnation and sacrifice, and so forth do not have any implications for the existence or non-existence of extraterrestrial life, intelligent or otherwise, with souls or without. God is big enough to dote on multiple worlds if he wants to. We don't know if there is other intelligent life out there, or if such life is fallen or not. Either way, I don't see how its existence would disprove any of the Bible's claims. It would certainly open the door to some interesting theological questions, but those can come when we have proof that such life exists.

If you go to Ken's site, he says this "Since secularists and some media outlets have been falsely accusing me of saying space aliens are going to hell as a result of this post, please read my response here..." and then there's a link where he reiterates that he did not say that aliens are going to hell. He has made it clear several times that he does not even believe in aliens, but he explained in that articale that Jesus came to save the Adamic race.

Later Ken says "Also, I just saw that the Cleveland Leader, a news website, has posted an article titled Creationist Ken Ham Wants to Defund NASA Because He Says Aliens Cannot Go to Heavenjust ridiculous. It is sad to see the sorry state of news reporting in this nation."

So Ken has responded to this ridiculous article you referred to in your OP and he says that the atheist writer in the Huffington Post misinterpreted his views.

Some may think that it makes for good "copy", but in the end, that article is just a bunch of hooey.

Ive read his statements and if he now claims to have never intended to imply that aliens go to hell then hes a terrible communicator and irresponsible. Your own explanation was very strange, but i suppose that was neccesary.

I don't see how this should be so hard to understand. Lots of Christians believe that elephants, lions, fish, birds, etc are not going to hell. Why? Because even though they are part of all creation which has been "affected by Adam's sin", none of those races have fallen. It's really grade one primer stuff. Now the Adamic race is in a fallen state, and that's the race that Jesus died for. That's what Ken said.

Some people have this unsubstantiated belief that an alien race must somehow be related to men on earth, and I think that may be confusing many. But there's no reason to believe (this is what Ken was saying) that (according to Ken's creationist view) that an alien is in any way related to the human race. I think a lot of people assume that from watching too much science fiction. So, if there are aliens, they live in this creation "affected by Adam's sin" but are not necessarily a fallen race. So they won't get the salvation provided by Jesus. Why? Helloooooo!! They don't NEED saving!

This is really so simple. I find it hard to believe that so many were so easily misled by this atheistic writer's attempt to produce a sensationalistic, although misleading article.
