  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Alichino is a 3-volume manga by Kouyu Shurei. Although there are rumours that Volume 4 will not be able to make it on the market, I'm still crossing my fingers that that won't happen. The first thing that will attract you (that is if you like gothic) is the art. Every panel/scenes are very detailed, from the hair strands and clothes to the background. All the characters here are very beautiful that most people are having a hard time on figuring out the character's genders. On the other hand, the story is good (in my humble opinion). Kouyu Shurei didn't create too many characters so he can build up each and entwine their pasts and presents with the other characters. With every page, bits of the past are being told, but not all, so that the mystery remains all throughout the story. But don't worry because the way it was presented, you won't be left out with that bit of information you have.

The Story
Alichinos (The Inviters) are beings that can grant any of your wishes in exchange for your soul. There are also beings that are known as kusabi (The Bond), they have the power to give death to the alichinos. Hence, to alichinos, their soul is the most coveted thing. Because of this, alichinos conduct a kusabi hunt to exterminate the kusabis. As of now, only one kusabi is still living....Tsugiri. He was almost killed by them but another alichino, Myoubi and her human master Ryouko, came to his rescue. Together, they resolved past trifles, uncovered the mysteries of the past and saved humans (and themselves too) from the very charismatic alichinos.....

I think it's beautiful and wonderful, and the storyline is gripping. Tsugiri, especially, is interesting.
