My ex-wife's alcoholism is getting bad again.

Today I had a long conversation with my step daughter. She said that a drunk boyfriend is making the homelife bad. This makes me nervous and uncertain for my son.

I have my son 65% of the time and recently had our custody agreement revised to include a sobriety clause. This will be the first time I've attempted to enforce the sobriety clause.

Please pray for safety for my son Nathan.

Please pray for my ex-wife Marianne - that she may find God and sobriety.

Please pray for me so I can stay strong. This chaos always has a negative effect on my work. Sometimes it can shut me down. The feeling is totally negative.

Please pray for God's will in this situation. I don't believe God causes people to become alcoholics. I believe that is the product of evil and human will.

alcoholism is the product of humans plain and simple,i could be an alcoholic but i choose not to,nevertheless it is an illness once its in your life,your dependant on the drink to get you through the day,as for this b/f well theres no way she will quit drinking with him on the scene,birds of a feather etc,keep an close eye on this situation,in fact i would have my son out of that house,she is not a fit parent,you are so he should live with you

I would consider using the sobriety clause, for now she needs to get herself together, before even having 35% custody.

Please continue to pray for me. The chaos from this situation has spilled over into my new relationship. Chaos from active alcoholism spreads like a fungus. I really believe there is something dark about alcoholism. I am in recovery myself. The insanity of people looking you in the face and telling you a straight up lie is hard to take.

Please pray for me because today I am feeling beaten down and discouraged.
