album file size quota

I just created an album and tried to put pics in it but got the message "This picture exceeds your total album file size quota by 13.9 KB." Then i look at my picture limits:
Pictures Remaining60Space Remaining100 BytesMaximum File Size per Picture97.7 KBMaximum Picture Dimensions600 by 600 Pixels
there are no pictures of 100 bytes. how did i get this limit when my album is new and empty?

I put a note to staff to look at the settings - I was unable to upload any album images too.
