  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Agree, some people don't drink enough water and should drink more. But, disagree, some people are probably very good about drinking enough water and therefor don't need to drink more.

Agree or disagree? Politics and religion are two subjects that can't usually be talked about unemotionally.

agree-ish. I used to listen to music 24/7 however I have become a bit more comfortable with silence so have managed to be able to sleep without music and once in a blue moon i might even read a book with no background beat

Neither agree or disagree. It's not as good as my church was in California. But, it's not as dead as the other churches we tried in town, either.

Agree or disagree? Active churches that people really love being a part of, are rarer than they should be.
