  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ok ladies, first I wanted to thank ya'll for all the information about things to take to the hospital for the stay. I did not even think about taking pain meds. Afterbirth pains are so bad for me, I feel like I am in labor again. But I'm a little worried cause I am going to breastfeed. Can I take something with me to the hospital that won't hurt my baby? This is #4, I should have learned a long time ago.

800mg of motrin every 6 hours is what they gave me at the hospital..and sent me home with a prescription for it as well...i only needed it a couple days. They offered vicodin and i denied due to breastfeeding..i felt the motrin was enough to take the edge off the worst of the pain.

Christy when are you due?
I just had #4 and the bf pains were awful but only the first 3 days, and tylenol or ibuprofin worked good enough for me.
