  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I need some advice. Johns parents and 2 sisters want to get together this week sometime and get us a few things we need. Would it be rude of us to just say diapers and wipes? lol we seriously have enough clothes, we bought all the nursery stuff we wanted. Can you suggest anything else? I just dont want to come off greedy:doh:I figured we can never have to many diapers and wipes. They mentioned getting us a fan since that new report on SIDS.. Thanks

No, that doesn't sound rude at all. After my baby is born I think a friend might throw me a little party and I pretty much have every thing too so one of the things I'll be asking for the most are diapers and wipes.
How about a diaper bag, do you have one? or maybe some toys? I remember you saying the nursery is gonna be a Winnie the pooh theme, maybe some cute little pooh bear toys?
