Adventist dates through the Bible: 1844

I want to start a series of threads based on important dates in Adventist history. I begin with 1844 which is the date of the Great Disappointment. The first text in the series will be 1 Kings 18:44And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand.
