Ok, Ok. I like most of his movies but I dion't get some thing. His movies are all crude but it ussally isn't him. Its the other actors. Why is that? Any ideas?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Cause Sandler is usually the main character. You cant make the main Character the crude and annoying one.

Well, in his early movies he played the annoying, crude jerk type of character. Then after the huge success of Wedding Singer, he found the lovable unlucky sweet guy was more successful for him.

I didn't used to like him much. I know that's not fair because it was because of the roles he played. However, this past weekend I saw 50 First Dates. He was such a nice guy in that movie, I decided I like him now. (At least until I see him in another jerky role).

Maybe it's to bring out his character's innocence and sweet nature more. Kind of like a stark contradiction between him and the rest of society, meaning his character sticks out more, and makes it more fun to watch. I don't know, really... that was just kind of my semi-technical way of explaining it. *grins*

Bleh, I don't like Adam Sandler, I don't find his brand of humour (or for that matter any of his Saturday Night Live friends' humour) funny in the slightest.

Adam Sandler has not been funny since "Waterboy." Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison are classics and now the man is just tainting his legacy. A real shame. Quit doing movies Adam! YOU AREN'T FUNNY ANYMORE!
