I have been wondering.....

Is the biblical word, 'Adam'?
And, the biblical word, 'flesh'?

"Sin- onymous" terms?

Sketchy,
you may need to put more meat on the bone.

Adam - the first man ..... made (created) in Gods image ... the first living being.

1 Corinthians 15:45-49

45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being” ; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.
47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven.
48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.
49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.

Interesting point!
47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven.

That is why a certain denomination can not be right about us now eating his literal flesh.
For His body's substance has changed and is new and everlasting, and made of of Heaven.
No longer the physical body (dust of the earth) that he had when he commanded the eucharist.
The bread we now eat represents what is spiritual, not of this earth.

"The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing.
The words I have spoken to you—they are spirit and life."
John 6:33

His human body that went to the Cross was like Adam's flesh but without sin. A perfect body from the dust of the earth.
No more is that body so!

47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven.

To say we literally eat His flesh now? It would mean to eat ourselves, because our resurrection body shall be just like His own glorious heavenly body.!

"Who will transform our humble body into the likeness of his glorious body,
according to the power by which he is able even to subject all things to himself."
Philippians 3:21

Amazing to see how a simple notion can trigger sharing more truth than expected?

I think a man and his wife become one flesh.
In Jesus
we ekklesia become one. echad.
Same as Father and Son are echad, forever, so we be.
Echad... but, only symbolically.

Keep in mind,.... Paul warned that a man and a prostitute become one flesh as well.

Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body?
For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”
1 Cor 6:16

In contrast to man?

God is one in always being one in always thinking the same things, and always knowing the same things within the Godhead.

grace and peace ........

Not forgotten, the flesh,
but
not symbolically, spiritually, echad Father and Son and believers in Jesus, spiritually, truth.
God is not one flesh. Oneness of man and wife as one flesh in God's image is symbolism to point to the reality.
