Mt. St. Helens did not produce fossils specific to marine layers, Mt. St. Helens did not produce multiple marine trans and regressive sequences. Mt. St. Helens did not produce any repeated sequence of rocks at all, nor did Mt. St. Helens produce disconformities in precise locations of those sequences.
It's so simple.... God said that what may be known about Him can be seen in creation.........science is just looking at creation, that's all. Seeing and discovering what GOD hath wrought.....wonderfully. Good....only more glory for God in that, unless we secretly doubt our faith and think it can't stand up to being tested. Wasn't it God who said that knowledge would increase in the last days....so isn't it?
Time to call off the Inquisitors, there's nothing new under the sun. The earth is round, after all.
(didn't see previous post to this that this is a response to, btw). The great flood, you don't believe that happened either
In a few assemblies on earth, in real true life, whenever anyI don't think it's good to continue arguing with evolutionists.
Mt St Helens produced layers upon layers of new formed definable strata in its canyon creation and almost instantly, right ?
Knowledge ain't the only thing prophesied to increase in the last days , right ?
Communists, atheists, humanists, other -ists, and bedbug -icks did also.Knowledge ain't the only thing ........ to increase in the last days , right ?
To @4x4toy, @KWCrazy, @JacksBratt and others...
I don't think it's good to continue arguing with evolutionists.
It's the problem of this site that it allows people who believe in evolution to participate in regular Christian subforums. They could be Christians, but should be confined to discuss their views on "Controversial Christian Theology", like others who don't agree with basics. Creation account is part of the ten commandments and is as basic as it gets. To mock it and be fervently against it is an insult.
My suggestion is to cease this kind of contact with teo-evolutionists, since it advances their illusion that it's ok to treat creation account as if it's up to carnal/Greek interpretation. This doesn't help them see what God communicates, it only pushes them away. Not that they didn't get enough sound responses on this and similar threads to change their mind if that's God's will.
Mount St. Helens produced canyons and stratified layers with trees up through the strata just like we find in different places around the globe.Mt.
Except that the little ones, the weak in faith, those struggling and seeking God's Kingdom,You're a good man Henry, I hope this back and forth is done in lightheartedness .. I neither seek to offend or am I offended .. I don't think the majority in here take these discussions too serious .. Just some fun wrestling around
Mount St. Helens produced canyons and stratified layers with trees up through the strata just like we find in different places around the globe.
Of course, atheistic academia will explain away the plain and simple logic that trees do not stay standing for the millions of years of supposed stratification.
Do you think that your atheistic controlled universities are going to teach the fact that the geologic column is fiction? Or the facts that debunk the geologic column?
For goodness sake... text books still have the fake embryos of Haeckle.....all these years after they were proven to be a hoax. Not to mention Lucy and nebraska man and Pilt town man...... all proven fakes in courts of laws yet still taught as proof of evolution.
What kind of foundation is this built on to still use these as proofs of a anti god delusional farce.

Mt. St. Helens- Lahar, Surge, Breccia, Gravel. Unsequenced, high energy, igneous.
Post 245
Sandstones, shales, limestones, unconformities, fossils in specific positions, sequenced. Sedimentary deposition.
These are different, completely different.
Except that the little ones, the weak in faith, those struggling and seeking God's Kingdom,
are bombarded with much more that is false than
that which is TRUTH ,
and many in life every day have stumbled because of the false teachers and false prophets, false gospels, false hopes, false beliefs and deadly errors.
Not quite. Some might describe the eruption in that way (I think Kent Hovind has in the past), but it is important to look at the specific layers that were deposited and their traits.
Some might think this sounds silly, but there are many different types of rocks. And many different types of sedimentary deposits and depositional features.

Above is an article about Mt. St. Helens and within the pdf, on page 18, there is discussion of layers it has made. Of them, breccia (rock composed of angled and fragmented rock usually formed by high energy motion, common with volcanoes), lahar (pyroclastic mudflows, common of volcanoes), layers of ash (self explanatory).
These are layers that you would expect to come from a volcano.
But in the earth, in post 245 as well, this is not always the case. And what I described are of rock types that are much different than those of Mt. St. Helens.
And even of those layers, they were not all produced in an individual eruption. Im just breezing through this document and it looks as though only the very top layer (5 ft) was produced in the recent eruption.
So you know what science is better than the world's scientists? That's really your position? Exactly what expertise do you have in science? You are sadly mistaken.
In my religion, usually known as Christianity, the gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ offers life and salvation through his life, death and resurrection. If you think denying the validity of evolution is part of the gospel, I think you'd better go back and read what Paul had to say about adding to the gospel.Nor do you know the Gospel.
Evolution is testable and observable, which is all that is required for science. Just because you don't know anything about the subject, why do you have to make false claims about it?Evolution is not testable, observable or repeatable
