Above is a stratigraphic column from the Kansas geological survey. I present it as evidence for an earth older than 6000 years as it shows a sequence of layers, sandstone, nonmarine shale, clay, coal, near shore shales, limestone, marine shale, disconformity and repeat. Their fossils also found with respect to the environment in which they were discovered (marine fossils located in marine rock, terrestrial organisms located in terrestrial rock).

No single flood could produce a sequence like this, it would defy physics. It should also be noted that layers of this rock regularly contain things like animal tracks and burrows, indicating not instantaneous burial, but that these animals comfortably lived within their respective environments for a set period of time.

In favor of an old earth, it is simple to explain. Beach environments produce sandstone (as beaches are made of sand), shallow marine environments produce siltstone (as they consist of silt) and deep marine environments produce limestone (as they consist of carbonaceous material). The fossils are found in their respective layers because that is the environment they lived in, sea shells in deep marine because that is where they lived, fossils are less prevalent as the rock transitions to a sandy environment, as less to no sea organisms live on the beach.

How are there burrows and foot tracks indicating that animals lived in these independent environments? Well, these trace fossils are present because these animals had a great deal of time to produce them, and weren't all instantaneously buried by a worldwide flood that unfolded in a few days.

How did scientists find soft tissue in dinosaur fossils?

posted is a link to another case of discovery of blood vessels of a dinosaur. If you take a look at the description, it sounds very much like what I am hearing about the T rex.

"Structures similar to blood vessels in location, morphology, flexibility, and transparency have been recovered"

upon further reading...

"after demineralization of multiple dinosaur cortical bone fragments"
" the acid demineralized the specimen. After seven days, the demineralization process revealed several unexpected tissues"

So, what has been discovered isn't like a fresh bone like you or I have. Rather it was a bone with minerals precipitated throughout the bone. Mineral precipitation, depending on the mineral, doesn't happen over night and wouldn't happen in 6000 years inside a bone. To examine the blood vessels within these bones, the bones were treated in acids for up to a week to remove minerals that had precipitated through.

The follow up question to this is, even though this bone clearly isn't of a recently deceased animal, how is it that blood vessels might still exist? Well, if the bone isn't invaded by destructive bacteria or destroyed by their environment , there is no reason they couldn't be in part preserved by things like rapid burial and protected by the minerals that precipitate around them.

Blood vessels aren't built by radioactive material, they do not necessarily have a decay rate or time frame in which they must no longer exist.

God, not physics, is Lord of the universe. If He wanted to created other earth exactly like this one He could do so simply by commanding it to exist.

Ok, here's a little homework.... these items that I posted are just a few of the many examples of lost technology or items that are from a technology that is not explainable.

My post said to "google" them... try looking into some of this stuff on your own. Don't just sit back in your lazyboy chair and say that something is not valid "cause it aint got no scientific paper attached and some engineer stamp.

Sheesh.... how about this.... believe nothing about what I say... but... test it.... if you do not test it and investigate it...you have no right to criticize it.

These items, each, have several pages that can be read and researched. They are not just chance posts on the internet. They are well known unexplained pieces of truth from the earths past that shout that something has been going on here on earth that has been lost.

My point is. These are well documented items. Look into it. You won't here about them in your universities or other scientific circles due to the fact that they contradict the God-less status quo that includes the hoax of evolution, and others.

Heres the reality, I am a geologist by trade and hobby, I test this stuff every day.

Now, you posted information about a geologist who dated something at 500,000 years old. The article didn't say who the geologist was or how they did it.

All I did was ask who the geologist was, how he or she dated it and where the source was. A few simple questions that everyone should ask when they cite articles of this nature.

No source was given, the point you were attempting to make, failed.

It isn't too late to redeem your argument by gathering sources. If you do, let me know, im right here. Otherwise, im moving on.

Do you have a response for post 245? Im asking for a specific response to the information contained within that post. How do you explain the existence of that column? Those layers aren't volcanic layers, they are sedimentary. Mt. St. Helens did not produce a marine sequence of rock.

Mt. St. Helens did not produce fossils specific to marine layers, Mt. St. Helens did not produce multiple marine trans and regressive sequences. Mt. St. Helens did not produce any repeated sequence of rocks at all, nor did Mt. St. Helens produce disconformities in precise locations of those sequences.

It's so simple.... God said that what may be known about Him can be seen in creation.........science is just looking at creation, that's all. Seeing and discovering what GOD hath wrought.....wonderfully. Good....only more glory for God in that, unless we secretly doubt our faith and think it can't stand up to being tested. Wasn't it God who said that knowledge would increase in the last days....so isn't it?

Time to call off the Inquisitors, there's nothing new under the sun. The earth is round, after all.
