Acidophilus

Well, I went to Urgent Care today, and found out I have yet another yeast infection The doctor prescribed Diflucan, so hopefully it will go away quickly.

My question is- Is Acidophilus safe to take during pregnancy? I'd like to try to prevent another infection before it starts, and know that pregnant women are more apt to have more yeast... and as we are planning to actively start trying next cycle, I want to be prepared!

(I'll ask my OB/GYN of course once the time comes, but I won't see her again until I get that BFP!)

Yes it is completely safe and you will definitely want to take it regularly if you are susceptible to yeast infections.

Another question- is it safe to take every day, whether or not I have an infection?

Yes and in fact it is a good idea especially if you are susceptible to infections
